Haley Holley
Haley is the Director of Operations for GLASE, interacting with the public and GLASE members and managing GLASE’s events and communications. She has a B.S. in Environmental Science from Texas Christian University and an M.S. in Horticulture from Cornell University. Throughout her career, Haley has worked with numerous farmers in NYS, planning and facilitating farmer workshops, discussions, and new technologies implementation. Her Master’s degree focused on soil health practices suitable for small-scale vegetable farms. She specifically studied the use of black tarps to reduce tillage by maintaining soil warmth and moisture, weed suppression, and increasing crop yields. Prior to her Masters, Haley worked in the professional research sector of botany. She is passionate about environmentally sustainable food production and enjoys helping research become applicable to those growing our food.
