New cutting-edge research aims to improve the efficiency of LED lighting systems used in greenhouse agriculture.
Heliohex—a New York-based manufacturer of horticultural LED lighting—and GLASE partner Cornell have teamed up to improve the uniformity of light produced by LEDs. The research has the potential to improve plant growth per unit of energy. GLASE researcher Kale Harbick led the Cornell team that collaborated with Heliohex.
