Justin Heavey
Justin Heavey has over a decade of experience in higher education supporting a wide range of funded and institutional projects in the fields of research, energy, sustainability, and green building. In his previous role at SUNY ESF, Justin was a driving force in reducing the college’s overall carbon footprint by 25% and becoming a Top 10 performer nationwide in sustainability For five years Justin was a member of the extension team of the USDA funded NEWBio Project catalyzing the development of bioenergy supply chains in collaboration numerous university, industry, NGO, government and community partners. Justin holds a B.S. in Environmental Studies and M.S. in Forest Resource Management from SUNY-ESF.
