GLASE is pleased to announce the release of a set of online tools that will be useful to members. Initially, two tools will be released; the first to help growers and manufacturers assess potential energy savings provided by integrated lighting control systems, and the second for lighting manufacturers to assess and improve horticulture lighting fixtures thermal management. A third tool, that will allow users to compare the installation and operational costs of different lighting systems and quantify the potential financial savings under grower’s specific environmental conditions, is in development. It is the intention to continue adding new tools and updating the ones we have based on feedback from members.
